Welcome to the Internet Home of Hanover Township Medic 9 Hanover Township EMS - Medic 9 operates three fully staffed paramedic units out of two stations. The stations are staffed twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, and three-hundred sixty five days a year by a highly trained staff. Hanover Township is approximately twenty-two square miles and is located in the heart of Northeastern Pennsylvania near the cities of Wilkes-Barre and Scranton. The population is approximately 12,000 and expands to nearly 30,000 during daytime hours.
