On Saturday, August 9, 2008, Hanover Township Ambulance will be holding the Tenth Annual Thomas Gusher Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament at Edgewood In The Pines Golf Course located in Drums, PA. This tournament is held each year in memory of a very special paramedic, fire fighter, and most of all a friend who lost his young life to cancer.
Tommy’s one goal in life was to become a paramedic, a goal he did achieve before he was taken from us too early. In honor of Tommy, this tournament is held to raise money that is placed in a scholarship fund, in his memory, to go to members of Hanover Twp. Ambulance who successfully complete the Paramedic program with a display of high academic achievement.
As much as players are needed to make any tournament a success, sponsors are also a very vital and necessary element. Our tournament is an extraordinary opportunity for you to advertise your business. As in previous years, your company’s name will be placed on a hole for all players to view, and as always, we actively encourage all participants to patronize our sponsors.
All proceeds will benefit the Hanover Township Ambulance Scholarship Fund in memory of Thomas Gusher Jr.
